Who Am I

I’m JaidynReiman, just a guy who loves adventure… and video games. I have a Youtube channel where I play a variety of video games just for fun, diving into more obscure games alongside the bigger releases. I also restream my content to Twitch.

I’m part of the FE Fangame Community, contributing assets here and there. I also am a fairly big contributor to the Lex Talionis Engine with improvements and bugfixes. Over on OpenGameArt.org I also have made many contributions to LPC sprites, especially the Universal LPC Character Spritesheet Generator.

Communities

I’ve been part of other fan communities in the past. This includes various Sonic communities, but many of these communities are mostly gone now except Sonic Stadium, and I don’t even go there anymore. I occasionally drop in on Zelda Universe and I’m loosely tied to some Donkey Kong communities as well but I’m not particularly huge in any of them.

The Shadow Realm

I ran a Shadow website for about 10 years or so called The Shadow Realm. Back then I was known as either The Ultimate Life Form, Ultimate, and later UltimaHedgie. I came up with JaidynReiman to distance myself from being exclusively a Sonic / Shadow associated fan and I’ve been JaidynReiman ever since.

Right now my main focus is just general gaming and trying to make my own games. I’m a gamer but I’ve also been trying to write my own stories for years. To contribute to this idea, I’ve been working on sprites, primarily sprites based on LPC. I’m a contributor to opengameart.org and the Universal LPC Spritesheet Generator.

This blog is mostly just for games discussion and sharing games I have played. I’m willing to play games people suggest, but that hasn’t really happened so far, so mostly I just play what I want. I don’t have a lot of subscribers/views on Youtube/Twitch or anything, I just do it for fun.

My chibi art design is created by Cheebs from Discord who used to be part of an old Smashboards community. I haven’t communicated with her in a while and will likely commission replacement designs later. The chibi “JaidynReiman” is intended to somewhat be a fantasy chibified version of myself, but the design doesn’t really match my actual appearance that much anymore.

Anyway, if you’re interested in any games I’ve been playing, I’ve collected various Let’s Plays and Playlists from my Youtube channel and occasionally I’ll post blog posts or reviews on here as I feel comfortable doing so. Thanks for visiting the site!
