Hello its JaidynReiman here. I’ve set up another new blog site this time, but this time I refocused on primarily the gaming aspect.
I’ll be delving a lot more into my Let’s Plays this time around, but I still want to occasionally post up blog posts and reviews.
I quite like the new design, it reminds me a lot of the old The Shadow Realm website. Its hard to believe its been over a decade since I took this site down. I would’ve kept it up, but money was tight back then and I couldn’t afford to keep my bluehost up and running.
I guess money is still tight now, though. I lost my job in January and haven’t gotten one since, but I’m trying to aim for freelance again. I have a number of prospects, with my ultimate backup plan… just getting another job locally. Still, I want to have websites up because web building has been my career for 15 years now, and all because I started a stupid silly little website called The Shadow Realm when I was a teen.
Instead of JaidynReiman Gaming I’m calling this one JaidynReiman Plays. Its still mostly focusing on the same thing, but with a greater emphasis on actual gameplay footage including direct Youtube embeds. All my themes and plugins are open source and can be found on my github.
For now the site is kinda barebones, but I have all my old content on this website still present. They’re just archived and won’t appear on the homepage. Later I want to connect up to my Youtube so I can have my Youtube community channel also get its contents up here, too.
Also, I will be talking about spriting here, too. Its also gaming related. jaidynreiman.net will not have a blog, it will entirely be my sprite art portfolio and a commissions website. Both of these two sites will be linked, but have distinct content.
